Plan a Stress Free Airport Parking

Several people prefer to drive to the airport in their own cars and keep their cars in the SFO Long Term Parking. This could be in two types of parking which would have different rates. The first would be short term airport parking which is needed when the parking facility would be used for only a couple of hours.  But if the traveler is going out for a few days or maybe a few weeks, then separately designated long term ORD airport parking would be needed.

There are more than 5000 airports in the United States of America, and all of them have small to medium sized parking lots inside their premises. This tells you how inadequate the parking areas inside airports are. This is an opportunity that private operators have taken up and have begun offering lax Short Term Parking  which are priced much lower than the airport onsite parking. This sounds quite attractive on the face of it. But if not planned properly, airport parking can actually become a source of stress for the traveler. 

These are some of the things you can do to get a stress free airport parking experience :

•     The selection of the parking service provider needs to be done as early as possible, in case you have   not used airport parking before.
•     Feedback must be taken from others who have used such parking services before.
•     The websites of the parking service providers must be browsed to compare services offered and costs, and also to check for discounts and promotional offers.
•     The booking of parking must preferably be done well in advance, and partial/full payment should also be done if possible.
•     On the day of the journey the traveler should leave for the airport with a little time in hand,especially if the booking and payment has not been done in advance.
