7 Blunders That Will Make You Miss Your Flight
1.
While booking tickets, the timing of the flight is very
important. For example, you might say to yourself, ‘I will book a flight late
on 20th July night’. But the flight you book is at 1 a.m. on 20th
July. This means that your flight is actually on 19th July late at night. Such mistakes can easily make you miss your flight.
2.
A similar mistake, though less common, is when people fail
to notice the difference between 8 am and 8 pm. Such people would take their JFK parking coupon and
reach the airport in time for 8 pm, for a flight which has already left at 8
am.
3.
Packing can often make the difference between boarding and
missing a flight. If you stuff your luggage way beyond the allowed weight and
also don’t want to pay extra baggage charges, then you might have to miss your
flight.
4.
Never offer to carry any package from an unknown or less
known person. You never know if it is contraband, and if you are stopped at
security with any illegal stuff, you will not only miss that flight but also
not be flying for a long time.
5.
Leaving your home too late is one of the most common
reasons for people missing flights. Yet people seem to continue making the same
mistakes. They don’t realize that if they leave early and reach early, they can
spend some time in airport parking Phoenix.
6.
Sometimes people miss their flights for the simple reason
that they did not pay attention to which terminal their flight would depart
from, or which departure gate they would need to board from.
7.
When something can go wrong, it will. Apart from the above
6 reasons for which you could miss your flight, there are hundreds of other
unforeseen circumstances that could cause you to miss your flight.
